I am a postdoctoral scholar at UCLA Psychology in the Computational Vision and Learning Lab and BlankLangLab, working with Dr. Hongjing Lu, Dr. Keith Holyoak, and Dr. Idan Blank, with interests in corpus linguistics, quantitative linguistics, psychology, and psycholinguistics.  I use corpora – including representative academic copora, social media, and other sources, to examine how the sensorimotor and affective connotations of words affect language processing, and reflect how we mentally represent people, events, and places.

I am a former member of the Reading Lab at McMaster University.

Check me out on LinkedIn, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and Twitter.
